To
satisfy the desire to offer a more traditional instrument, Green
Onion has recently developed a sitar in a traditional set up. It has
a wooden neck, fret- and sound-board, the traditional wooden pegs (but
now in ebony) and an exotic Eastern design. The gourd is made of a synthetic
and wood dust composite. Bone parts have been replaced by a synthetic
ivory, still to spare any animal suffering. The supreme stainless steel
frets have remained, being Green Onion-sitars standard equipment.
